Lundi 28 Décembre - Sri Lanka, le programme

Après Noël, nous voici dans les préparatifs du voyage au Sri Lanka. Nous partons demain et y serons pendant 12 jours, avec une première partie plutôt orientée visites culturelles et une seconde partie relax en bord de mer. La météo ne s'annonce pas terrible d'après ce que j'ai vu. Chaud et humide, il va falloir faire avec.

29/12/09: Arrival transfers Kandy via Pinnawela elephant Orphanage
En Route Visit The Elephant Orphanage In Pinnawela. This Orphanage Is The Home For About 60 Elephants, Out Of Which Some Are Baby Elephants Found Abandoned Or Orphaned In The Wild. They Are Being Cared, Fed And Trained By The Wild Life Authorities. The Best Time To Visit Is During The Feeding Times, When One Will Have The Opportunity Of Seeing The Baby Elephants Being Bottle-Fed. Also Could Accompany The Elephants To A River Close-By And See Them Having Their Daily Bath
Overnight stay at Chaaya Citadel - Kandy

30/12/09 : Breakfast at the Hotel - Kandy.
Morning proceed to Dambulla. Climb the Sigiriya. On completion visit Dambulla Temple. Continue to Kandy. On arrival do the city tour of kandy. Rest of the day at leisure

31/12/09 : Breakfast at the Hotel
In the morning visit the Temple of the tooth relic
Thereafter leave for Nuwara Eliya
En route visit a Tea Factory and Garden
Rest of the at leisure
Overnight stay at Grand Hotel (Golf wing) – Nuwara Eliya

01/01/10 : After breakfast do a city tour of Nuwara Eliya. 
Rest of the day at leisure
Overnight stay at Grand Hotel (Golf wing) – Nuwara Eliya

02/01/10 : After breakfast Leave for Colombo
Rest of the day at leisure
Overnight at Cinnamon Lake side - Colombo

03/01/10 : Breakfast at the Hotel
Thereafter do A City Tour Of Colombo,
Driving Through The Commercial Area Of The Fort So Named, Because Both The Portuguese And Dutch Had A Fort At This Point. Drive Passed Pettah A Noisy Oriental Bazaar With A Hotchpotch Of Humanity, Ancient Vehicles, Bargains, Mosques & Temples. Visit Hindu Temple & Drive Pass Jumi- Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque, Continue The Tour Through The Wolvendaal Dutch Church, Hultsdorf Law Courts, To The Residential Area Of Cinnamon Gardens And On To The Independence Square And Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall. Also, Visit the Ceramics Corporation Showroom, Majestic City Shopping Complex, House Of Fashion, And The Odel Unlimited Dress Boutique

04/01/10 : Breakfast at at the Hotel Leave for Bentota
Rest of the day at leisure By the beach
Overnight stay at Serendib Bentota - Bentota

05/01/10 to 09/01/10 : To Full day at leisure By the beach
Overnight stay at Serendib - Bentota

09/01/10 : After breakfast at the Hotel Transfer to the Airport.
